Steve Maylish is Vice President, Business Development of Source Scientific, a BIT Group Company. Over his more than twenty years of experience within the medical device industry, Mr. Maylish has served in such executive positions including Director of Business Development, Director of Marketing, Director of Hardware, and Senior Product Manager. Before working at Source Scientific, he was also employed at Aubrey Group, another local medical product development company and has also been associated with several well-known medical companies including Johnson & Johnson, Shiley, Baxter Healthcare and Edwards Lifesciences. Mr. Maylish has an MBA, a B.S. Degree in Business, and an A.S. Degree in Electronics. In his position as Vice President, Business Development with Source Scientific, Mr. Maylish focuses on the strategic advancement of customer development for the company's engineering and contract manufacturing services.
The Entrepreneurship Seminar Series provides a real-world introduction to the theory and practice of entrepreneurship. Through a series of presentations by prestigious entrepreneurs and industry leaders, participants will explore the various organizational, strategic and financial challenges facing successful and unsuccessful entrepreneurs. Topics include start-up strategies, business idea evaluation, business plan writing, and introduction to venture capital.
